General Health Group has sold two of its hospitals for £36.9m under leaseback agreements.
Henderson UK Property Unit Trust paid £23.3m for the 35,870 sq ft BMI The Harbour Hospital in Poole, which represents a net initial yield of 6.25%. BMI is the trading name for private hospitals in General Health Group’s portfolio.
BMI The Duchy Hospital in Harrogate, North Yorks, was sold to a private property investor for £13.6m, which reflects a net initial yield of 5.75% for the 42,820 sq ft facility.
