Generali Real Estate’s chief executive steps down

Christian-DelaireChristian Delaire has stepped down as chief executive and general manager of Generali Real Estate.

Delaire joined Generali in 2014 from AEW Europe where he had also been chief executive.

Previously he had been the chief investment officer of AXA Real Estate, where he started his career in real estate after training as an auditor with KPMG.

Delaire will be replaced as general manager in the interim by Francesco Benvenuti, current group investments chief operating officer, who will also carry on in his existing role.
