Manchester-based developer Generation has hired former Southway Housing head of development Patrick Ross to help deliver the company’s expanding development portfolio.
At Southway Housing, Ross established the company’s first ever development and acquisition programme in south Manchester and led their creation of a private rented sector business. His 20-year career in regeneration and property development has also included roles at Tribal Group, Colin Buchanan, New East Manchester and Hulme Regeneration.
In his new role, Ross will be responsible for sourcing and bringing forward new development opportunities.
Generation co-founder Shehzad Chaudhri said: “Patrick joining us represents a significant appointment for the business as we actively pursue new opportunities across Greater Manchester. Patrick’s wealth of experience in managing and delivering high quality residential and mixed-use schemes in the region, alongside his extensive market knowledge and contacts, will enable us to grow our pipeline of projects.”
