Genr8 Kajima reveals £200m Liverpool village regen drafts

Genr8 Kajima Regeneration, in partnership with Knowsley Council, is seeking community feedback on the £200m transformation of Huyton Village in Liverpool, Merseyside.

The partners have been working together on the masterplan, which forms part of the wider 10-year development plan for the village, for more than two years. The first phase will involve the makeover of the council’s seven-acre civic site, known as St Michael’s Place.

Subject to securing funding, the partners are looking to bring forward 75 affordable homes, a 130-bedroom hotel and 90,000 sq ft of office space, including the council’s headquarters. Future phases will include up to 150,000 sq ft of additional office space and 300 homes.
