Gerald Eve buys Cardiff agent

Gerald-Eve-THUMB.jpegProperty consultancy Gerald Eve is expanding its Cardiff office with the acquisition of clients from niche surveying practice Stephenson & Alexander.

Peter Graham, managing director and owner of Stephenson & Alexander, will be joining Gerald Eve as a partner based at the firm’s Cardiff office.

The Stephenson & Alexander brand will cease to exist following Graham’s arrival at Gerald Eve.

Stephenson & Alexander clients include Atlantic Properties, Asda, Aldi, Church in Wales, South Wales Police, University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Waitrose and institutional investors.

Gerald Eve managing partner Simon Rees said: “Stephenson & Alexander enjoys a reputation for excellence in the Cardiff and South Wales property markets, as does Peter himself, and his arrival at Gerald Eve underlines the firm’s continuing growth in the region.

“This represents a great opportunity to capitalise on the strengths of both firms in Cardiff and beyond, with complementary disciplines and clients leading to new income streams and expanded services.”

Graham said: “With more than 50 years’ experience of operating in Cardiff and South Wales, Gerald Eve has a proven track record for offering the very best levels of advice. This is an exciting time to join the firm and contribute to its growth and ongoing success in the region.”

The move follows two further recruitments to Gerald Eve’s Cardiff office, with Daniel Tompkinson arriving as an associate and Tom Cater joining the firm as a graduate surveyor.
