Gerald Eve hires four-strong resi dev team

Gerald Eve has expanded its residential development team with the appointment of four senior valuers.

Jonathan Godfrey will head up the team as a partner, after four years at Cushman & Wakefield.

Godfrey previously advised Argent on its King’s Cross regeneration, British Land’s office and residential portfolio, and the Earl’s Court masterplan for a potential buyer.

He is joined by three colleagues who have also moved from Cushman & Wakefield. Jim Parker has been appointed senior associate, and Alex Maher and Jacques Higginson have joined as associates.

The team will specialise in London and the South East, and will support Gerald Eve’s regional network, based in the West End.

It will advise on residential-led schemes of £5m to £500m in value, with a focus on the PRS, co-living and pre-planning land, regeneration and masterplanning.

Simon Rees, managing partner at Gerald Eve, said: “As schemes become ever more complex, incorporating a range of uses woven together, the valuations this team specialises in and the experience they possess will be essential to developers, investors and lenders.”
