Gerald Eve has launched a new business arm focused on acquiring and managing commercial real estate in the UK for third-party investors.
The new business will work closely with Gerald Eve’s existing property and asset management offering, and look to capitalise on “opportunities created by mispriced risk and structural economic shifts”.
The agent recruited Daniel Okin (pictured above, right) in April and Charlie Ingham (left) in September as partners to build its new offering, which will be known as Gerald Eve Capital Partners.
Okin’s background is in strategic portfolio and asset management, acquisitions and disposals, while Ingham’s experience covers investment management, capital raising and investor relations.
John Rodgers, partner at Gerald Eve, said: “Now, more than ever, investors are seeking innovative, proactive strategies for their existing holdings and emerging opportunities, and the new Gerald Eve Capital Partners offering will help us better align with clients’ requirements in this rapidly shifting marketplace.”
