Gerald Eve has made 40 partner and associate promotions across its regional offices and in London, after generating record turnover during its latest financial year.
Turnover rose by 22% to £92.5m in its 2021-22 financial year, up from £75.8m during the previous year.
New partners were appointed in the Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Cardiff and London offices, across various disciplines including rating, planning and development and industrial and logistics.
Gerald Eve said the promotions were partly driven by recent political discussions around the levelling up agenda and changes to business rates across the country.
The firm added that the new partners and associates have been “key drivers” behind the delivery of environmental and social guidelines at the firm, including the its first environmental impact report, which outlines its actions to achieve net zero in this financial year. It said ED&I initiatives have also been accelerated.
There were eight further promotions within the firm’s technical and business services support teams, including the rates payment team, marketing and HR.
