German co-working and co-living business rent24 is taking a majority stake in UK counterpart The Brew.
The takeover grants the company access to the UK market, where The Brew operates five co-working spaces in Shoreditch, London. These sites will now operate under the name “The Brew by rent24”.
Robert Bukvic, founder and chief executive of rent24, said: “Despite Brexit, we remain convinced by the UK market. With its well-managed spaces and its strong customer focus, The Brew is an ideal partner for our ambitious expansion plans in Great Britain.”
The company aims to open 45 co-working spaces in the UK and Ireland in the next two years.
Rent24 is also aiming to offer co-living services in the UK.
