German car component supplier Mann & Hummel (M&H) has acquired its first UK plant in a £15m deal for an industrial unit of up to 16,722 sq m (180,000 sq ft) on a 4.5ha (11.25 acre) site at Crest Nicholson Properties’ Hilton Cross business park near Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
The Stuttgart-based company makes air and oil filters and employs 8,000 people worldwide. M&H supplies Rover, Nissan and Toyota in this country.
Construction is underway on a £1.5m programme of infrastructure works to improve access to the park, which has full development area status. Letting agent is DTZ Debenham Thorpe.
