Get Living moots sale of £180m Leeds BTR scheme

Get Living is considering selling its £180m Globe Road site in Leeds.

It is understood that the scheme, which secured planning permission for 783 homes in 2021, is no longer viable owing to changing market conditions.

Get Living’s investors acquired the five-acre site in the South Bank area of the city in June 2017. It was its first investment in Yorkshire and third outside of London. The developer submitted plans in May 2019 and, subject to consent, work was due to commence later that year.

The scheme comprises studios, one-to-three-bedroom apartments as well, as family townhouses across eight residential buildings, linked by a series of public spaces. It includes a hub building overlooking the canal, and retail and leisure space.
