Giraffe sticks its neck out in Cambridge

World food restaurant chain Giraffe has secured its first two sites outside London.

Giraffe, which has 12 London restaurants, will take 3,000 sq ft at Land Securities’ 78,000 sq ft Christ’s Lane development in Cambridge and 1,500 sq ft at its 530,000 sq ft Princesshay in Exeter, where the 26,500 sq ft of restaurant space is now fully let.

Wagamama, Strada, La Tasca, Nando’s, Segafredo and Fishworks will all make their debut in Exeter at Princesshay alongside Giraffe.

Café Rouge will relocate from existing premises in Gandy Street in the city centre.

Leslie Furness and Bidwells are letting agents at Christ’s Lane.
