Glasgow’s Great Big Property Gig

The Glasgow property sector put its musical talents to good use once again at this year’s Great Big Property Gig.

Scores of industry people enjoyed an informal evening of networking over beer and enjoyable tunes at the Ferry, Anderson Quay, Broomielaw, on 15 May. The musical offering was headlined by ISIS. Other performers included LOGIC, the Mick Tausney Band and Martha and the Moodies.

The annual event, sponsored this year by Abstract, raised £6,000 for charities including Cancer Research UK and the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.

LOGIC member Bill Gillespie of BG Architects, one of the founders of the gig, said: “I’m really pleased to support this event again. Sadly my father-in-law was diagnosed with cancer and died last year. We want to be part of the ambition to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.”

The annual Great Big Property Gig event has now raised a total of £80,000 since it first took place eight years ago.
