Retail Property Holdings (RPH) has announced that Next will be the fourth retail anchor for its £350m Silverburn retail scheme in Glasgow.
Next will open a 50,000 sq ft store, the largest to date in Scotland, at the eastern entrance to the development.
Next joins Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and Tesco as anchors of the one million sq ft development – Scotland’s largest ever purpose built retail destination.
Richard Low, RPH’s managing director commented: “This is an exciting time for the development with construction work well underway, we are 11 months into the two year building program.
“The dedicated junction off the M77 is complete and we are right on schedule to open during October 2007.”
