Orchard Street Investment Management has signed US insurance giant Arthur J Gallagher at Glasgow’s Spectrum Building.
The firm is taking 9,400 sq ft and the letting means the 65,000 sq ft property is now fully let.
It has taken a new office on the fourth floor on a 10-ear lease at £18 per sq ft. It already occupies the 9,100 sq ft seventh floor following its 2013 purchase of Giles Insurance.
Andrew Jenkins, asset manager at Orchard Street, said: “The Spectrum Building recently underwent an extensive refurbishment which has significantly raised its appeal and profile. For AJG to not only extend its existing lease but to take an additional floor underlines the outstanding credentials of the building.”
JLL and Ryden acted on behalf of Orchard Street Investment Management; Gerald Eve acted for AJG.
