Gleeson Homes hires from Keepmoat for regional operations director role

Housebuilder Gleeson Homes has named Gareth Roberts as operations director for the Greater Manchester and Merseyside region. Roberts will focus on building a team and streamlining operations to ensure the delivery of affordable homes. He will also be tasked with driving operational growth and promoting the Greater Manchester and Merseyside regions. Roberts joins Gleeson from Keepmoat Homes, where he served as regional managing director, responsible for doubling the housebuilder’s output to more than 700 homes from 350 homes per annum. Prior to this, he was the finance director at Taylor Wimpey for 14 years. Mark Knight, chief executive at Gleeson Homes, said: “With considerable industry experience, Gareth is a great appointment for the Greater Manchester and Merseyside region as it enters its next phase of growth.”
