Gleeson nabs North West land boss from McCarthy Stone

Housebuilder Gleeson Homes has appointed Gareth Owen as land director for the Greater Manchester and Merseyside region.

Owen brings more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, having most recently served as divisional land director for the North of England at McCarthy Stone. Prior to that, he has served as land and partnerships manager at Keepmoat and spent 18 years at Taylor Wimpey.

In his new role, Owen will be responsible for growing Gleeson’s land pipeline in the region, supporting its target to hit 3,000 annual completions in the medium term.

Gareth Roberts, regional managing director at Gleeson, said: ” Gareth’s insights and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to develop our presence in this region, delivering affordable, quality homes across Greater Manchester and Merseyside.”
