Gleneagles golf course in Scotland could be put up for sale as the owner wants to cash in on the success of the recent Ryder Cup.
Owner Diageo, which makes Johnnie Walker and Smirnoff, did try to sell the estate in 1998 but received bids of only £60m.
American private equity firm KSL Capital Partners, which owns The Belfry golf course near Birmingham, is interested in Glenagles.
