Glenveagh Properties names new finance boss

The chief financial officer at Irish housebuilder Glenveagh Properties will step down at the end of this year.

Michael Rice will be replaced by Conor Murtagh, currently chief strategy officer.

Chief executive Stephen Garvey said the company owes “much of our progress to [Rice’s] efforts, and we all here at Glenveagh wish him the very best in all his future endeavours”.

He added: “Over the past six years, Conor has been a vital part of Glenveagh, consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership, dedication, and a deep understanding of our business and its success drivers. I am confident that Conor will continue to play a crucial role in driving our future success.”
