Global Holdings fashions Vogue House deal

Global Holdings Group has completed its acquisition of Vogue House on London’s Hanover Square from publishing giant Condé Nast.

The investor is understood to have paid £75m for the 62,777 sq ft building at 1-2 Hanover Square, W1.

The block, which has been home to a number of Condé Nast publications, including Vogue, for decades, is moving staff to its Adelphi office on John Adam Street, WC2.

The deal was one of more than £1bn of London office deals set to complete before the end of 2023.

Josh Lawrence, chief executive at Global Holdings Management Group UK, said the acquisition of the “iconic property, an important and prominent building on one of London’s most prestigious squares” was a “tremendous addition” to its extensive real estate portfolio.

Global Holdings will rebrand the building as 1 Hanover Square.

Knight Frank advised Condé Nast on the sale.
