Broadcasting giant Global Radio is close to going under offer on 15,000 sq ft at Allied London’s Cotton Building in Spinningfields, Manchester.
The firm has been seeking space in Manchester and Newcastle to set up new studios for its radio brands, which include Capital FM, Classic FM, LBC, Heart and XFM.
The firm is expected to sign a 15-year lease at around £30 per sq ft. Global Radio currently occupies 8,555 sq ft at Hunter’s 4 Exchange Quay. CBRE act for Allied London on the Cotton Building; Astranta acted for Global Radio.
