The green light has been given for a mixed-use development in Walthamstow town centre, E17.
Islington Shoreditch Housing Association’s and Hill Residential’s plans for the corner of Hoe Street and High Street include 121 flats and 18,000 sq ft of shops and restaurants.
Empire Cinemas has already signed a prelet for the proposed 1,200-seat cinema at the six-storey development.
Following consent from Waltham Forest council, construction is expected to begin shortly.
