A 98-acre mixed-use scheme in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, has been approved by Bassetlaw district council.
The Gateford North scheme, submitted by Land Improvements, includes family homes, a primary school and improved accessibility to the road network.
Indigo planning advised Land Improvements on the application.
Andrew Johnston, associate at Indigo Planning, said: “Approval for Gateford North means that demand for more family homes in Worksop can be met through a well-designed new community, with facilities and recreational space at its heart.”
The first homes are set to be delivered by 2015, and the development is expected to be completed by 2025.
