Price comparison website Go Compare has sealed a deal to move its head office to Legal & General Investment Management’s refurbished Hodge House in Cardiff.
The company has taken a 10-year lease on 15,629 sq ft on the second floor of the building. It will move from its current base at 4 Callaghan Square, home to parent group Future.
LGIM has invested £20m to refurbish the 110,000 sq ft, eight-storey office on St Mary Street.
LGIM was represented by Fletcher Morgan and Knight Frank, while Savills acted for Go Compare.
Matt Phillips, head of Knight Frank in Cardiff, said: “This is a significant letting for Cardiff city centre, and phase 2 of the Hodge House refurbishment is now all let except for around 3,000 sq ft – and we are confident of further lettings to follow in the near future.”
