Goals Soccer Centres, which has 43 UK sites, has confirmed reports it is the target of a potential takeover bid.
The five-a-side football pitch operators said the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan had made a preliminary approach “that may or may not lead to an offer being made”. Analysts suggested the Aim-listed business could fetch up to £76.8m.
