Goldman Sachs Group has paid $40m to terminate its lease for 10 Hanover Square in Lower Manhattan before its expiry, following a wave of redundancies, which has left it with a lot of unused space. The bank will vacate the 49,400 m² on 22 floors in October, although it will still occupy 92,900 m² of office space nearby.
