Asif Aziz’s Golfrate is to submit an application to reconfigure the 95,000 sq ft St Nicholas Centre in Sutton, Surrey.
Golfrate paid GE Capital £78m for the shopping centre in November.
It wants to replace some 1,500 sq ft units with 3,000 sq ft stores to attract fashion retailers and may also purchase adjoining land.
Hammond Phillips manages the centre for Golfrate.
