Golub-Europe enters the Czech market with nine-storey scheme

Chicago-based Golub-Europe is to make its development debut in Prague with a Kc75bn commercial project in the city centre at Karlovo Namesti and Resslova Street.

Golub-Europe, which is backed by US investors GE Capital and Golub & Co, has leased the land from the city of Prague.

It is calling the nine-storey development, which will include 13,033m2 of offices and 5,738m2 of retail space within a two-level central atrium, Charles Square Center.

According to Robert Mathias, Golub-Europe’s marketing director said: “Like our new Warsaw Financial Center in the Polish capital, Charles Square is designed to answer tenants’ needs well into the future.”

Colliers International has been appointed letting agent for the development.

Other Golub-Europe projects in central and eastern Europe include the 10,000m2 Warsaw Corporate Center and The Atrium at Nevsky 25 in St Petersburg.

Meanwhile, the 50,000m2 International Business Center in Warsaw is in the initial planning stages.
