Goodman and SWIP let Hinckley space to logistics firm

Goodman and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership have let 96,500 sq ft of industrial at the Hinckley Commercial Park in the Midlands to Armstrong Logistics.

The first phase of Hinckley Commercial Park comprises 650,000 sq ft of warehouse and distribution space.

Armstrong has taken Unit 3, leaving one remaining vacant unit which Goodman expects to sell in the near future.

It has signed a 15-year lease with no break clauses at £5.50 per sq ft and will take immediate occupation.

Jason Dalby, managing director of Goodman UK Logistics, said: “Since acquiring the site in 2004 a £12m infrastructure project has been implemented to significantly improve the park’s connectivity.

He continued: “We have developed new buildings on the site and secured a string of major lettings in recent years, which has led to the park reaching near-full occupation, and the planned development of a second phase.”

Savills and North Rae acted for Goodman, Armstrong Logistics was unrepresented.
