US care homes firm Goodman Group is planning a £500m spree to launch in the UK healthcare market.
The company intends to focus in and around the M25, and is looking for sites between two and four acres to develop on.
In addition, Goodman Group is seeking partners and developers for larger care home schemes.
Simon Webster has been recruited as UK managing director of the business. He was responsible for launching US company Sunrise Senior Living into the UK.
Webster said: “There is a clear market opportunity to bring additional choice with an innovative, high-quality model of care to the growing number of older people who need it.”
