Goodman signs Allport Cargo Services

shed_THUMB.jpegIndustrial developer Goodman has agreed a deal with Allport Cargo Services to occupy a 130,000 sq ft distribution warehouse at its Interlink 130 development in Bardon, Leicestershire.

Allport Cargo Services has agreed a 10-year lease to occupy the recently completed facility to fulfil a new contract with a leading retailer.

The new distribution centre, developed in partnership with Wilson Bowden Developments and completed in March last year, provides 124,611 sq ft of warehouse space and 6,068 sq ft of offices.  It offers 12 dock levellers, two level-access doors, 12.5m clear height, a 50 metre yard and parking for 105 cars.

Goodman development director Nigel Dolan said: “We welcome Allport Cargo Services to Interlink Park. Our decision to press ahead with development in Bardon and the construction of this facility in partnership with Wilson Bowden comes in the face of demand for space from local occupiers throughout the East Midlands.”

Agents for the scheme are CBRE and Avison Young.
