Goodrich buys £9m Banbury building

Technology firm Goodrich CTG has acquired a 137,000 sq ft facility in Oxfordshire, for £9m.

The six-acre site is part of vendor Albion Land’s Network M40 development in Banbury.

Located by junction 11 of the M40, the building is expected to be completed by spring 2012.

Jones Lang LaSalle and White Commercial acted for Albion Land, and Colliers advised Goodrich CTG.

The deal comes shortly after Albion Land pre-let their adjoining site to First Line, which will be taking another 131,000 sq ft on a new 25-year lease. The completed development has also been forward-sold to a pension fund client of Whitmarsh Holt Young for £8.7m.
