The Government Property Agency has signed for 330,000 sq ft at Schroders and Stanhope’s Two Ruskin Square in Croydon.
The GPA has signed a 25-year prelet for the 10-storey Two Ruskin Square, part of Stanhope’s 1m sq ft mixed-use development next to East Croydon station.
Construction work for the Grade A office is expected to start this summer, and is earmarked for a 2023 completion.
It follows GPA’s second letting at the nine-acre scheme. It signed for HMRC to occupy 183,000sq ft at One Ruskin Square in 2017.
Jessica Berney, fund manager for Schroders, said: “This deal demonstrates the confidence that the tenant has in the town and in Ruskin Square as a developing community within it.
“With a further two office and three residential buildings in the pipeline, Ruskin Square is sure to continue to be a focal point of Croydon’s reputation as a thriving London hub.”
