GPE staff step up with series of charity challenges

GPE is on a quest to raise £75,000 for its charity partner XLP through a series of charity challenges.

Last week, more than 120 GPE team members successfully completed tasks, including climbing the National Three Peaks in 24 hours, a 42km trek along the South Downs way (pictured), a marathon walk through London’s Royal Parks, a tandem sky dive from 13,000 ft and community volunteering activities.

They have raised more than £74,000 to date, with all proceeds going to XLP.

The charity supports young people living in inner-city London boroughs where there are high levels of poverty and deprivation, who struggle with issues such as family breakdown, unemployment and education. Last year, the organisation helped 4,000 young people and their families.

GPE covered the cost of the challenges, including offsetting environmental impact.
