Industrial developer and investor Graftongate has hired two new recruits to support its expanding business.
James Watson, partner at DTRE, is joining the firm as a director, and Marcus Phayer, surveyor at CBRE Birmingham, has joined the firm as development manager.
Colin Beasley, director at Graftongate, said: “They are coming on board to help with the existing business schemes and we have more than 1.5m of speculative space in the UK and we have also got 600,000 sq ft of prelet space under construction. Not only will they be helping on our existing schemes but also out programme of new opportunities in 2017.”
Watson said: “My time at DTRE has been good fun and I have learnt a lot during my time here. I have a huge appreciation for the business and look forward to continue working with them in years to come on future projects.”
DTRE founder Keith Dowley said: “We are sorry that James is leaving DTRE. We wish him well for the future and look forward to enjoying a close relationship with him at Graftongate.”
Phayer joined the firm at the beginning of this week and Watson will join in February.
