Graham Penny offered its largest catalogue in two years at Derby’s Pride Park stadium on 12 February.
The sale raised £5.2m after 64% of 97 lots were sold.
Auctioneer Graham Penny said: “The result was fairly patchy, although reasonably encouraging. Several properties fetched more than 50% above their reserves, while others, although having a significant number of pre-auction viewings, failed to attract bids, which was very strange. We need good-quality lots – but they are fairly hard to come by.”
