Granada sells Derbyshire theme park to Venture World for £3.5m

Granada has sold its American Adventure theme park in Derbyshire to Venture World for £3.5m. Venture World is a shell company led by Trevor Hemmings, chairman of TJH. Property developer John Broome is consultant.

Granada has plans for Camelot and the Park Hall hotel on the same site under review. It is expected to announce further hotel disposals shortly. Granada’s two Westbury hotels in London and New York are expected to go to Chelsfield.
