Manchester city council has approved Allied London’s plans for the redevelopment of the former Granada Television headquarters and studios.
The Levitt Bernstein-designed plans include a hotel, performance space and offices with a rooftop terrace featuring a bar and heated swimming pool.
It is part of the 13-acre St John’s Quarter regeneration scheme, which will span 2.8m sq ft and will include offices, 1,450 homes and cultural amenities.
Deloitte Real Estate is advising on planning.
