Brighton council has given De Vere Hotels the go-ahead to build a 38,000-sq ft office block and multi-storey car park at the rear of the Grand Hotel.
The hotel, badly damaged by a bomb during last year’s Conservative Party conference, has been rebuilt and refurbished and will open at the end of August.
Work on the new office block will start in September, and De Vere have also been given permission for residential apartments linked to the west wing of the hotel. Stiles Horton Ledger are the letting agents.
