Grantchester has formed the East Anglian Sport & Leisure Consortium to develop a 15.37ha (38 acre) site near Chelmsford in Essex.
The £20m scheme, just off the A12, will include the new site for Chelmsford City Football Club as well as an 11-screen multiplex for Virgin Cinemas and a 3,716m2 (40,000 sq ft) tennis centre. Leisure, brewing and catering interests will take up the remainding 14,445 m2 (155,500 sq ft).
