Gravesend car park to become 156-home BTR scheme

Parkcentral Developments received approval for a 156-home mixed-use build-to-rent scheme in Lord Street, Gravesend at a Gravesham Borough Council planning meeting earlier this week.

The 1.5-acre development is located on the site of a demolished multi-storey car park.

The approved scheme includes studio, one and two-bedroom homes, of which 20% will be let at a discounted market rate. The homes will be provided across several buildings ranging from four to 10 storeys in height.

The development includes 21,450 sq ft of offices, 2,700 sq ft of retail space and 24,000 sq ft of communal space, as well as 50 car parking spaces, 16 disabled parking spaces, 20 motorcycle bays and 300 bicycle storage spaces.
