Gravity Active Entertainment has signed for 100,000 sq ft at Liverpool ONE, its largest venue to date.
Set to open in the final quarter of 2022, the £10m leisure experience will cover the two upper floors of the former Debenhams building.
Liverpool ONE, co-owned and operated by Grosvenor, will be Gravity’s first venue to feature an outside rooftop space. The venue will also house an e-karting experience, bowling, urban golf and a F&B offering with a bar and live entertainment.
Michael Harrison, co-founder and chief growth officer at Gravity, said: “This is our biggest investment yet and we are delighted to be collaborating with Grosvenor at a destination that has continued to perform positively despite the recent market challenges.”
Occupancy levels at Liverpool ONE were stable during the pandemic. In the past 12 months, 37 brands totalling 280,000 sq ft signed, opened or renewed at Liverpool ONE, including Clarendon Fine Art, Hamleys, Castore, Rituals, Therapie Clinic, Gym+Coffee, Tessuti, Bershka, the UK’s first Sky store and New Look.
The shopping centre has also seen £11.5m investment by occupiers in stores and restaurants, with Browns currently renovating its venue.
Metis and Starka acted for Liverpool ONE; Savills represented Gravity.
