The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has confirmed Philip Green has filed his bid proposals for Safeway with the regulator.
The submission follows others from William Morrison, Sainsbury’s, Wal-Mart/ASDA and Tesco. Kohlberg Kravis Roberts has not yet made a submission.
The OFT will make recommendations to the Department of Trade and Industry by early March.
