Green files Safeway proposals with OFT

The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has confirmed Philip Green has filed his bid proposals for Safeway with the regulator. The submission follows others from William Morrison, Sainsbury’s, Wal-Mart/ASDA and Tesco. Kohlberg Kravis Roberts has not yet made a submission. The OFT will make recommendations to the Department of Trade and Industry by early March.
