Green Property is submitting a solo application for its site at Manchester Airport while maintaining long-standing talks with Arlington Securities for a joint venture on an adjacent site.
Green managing director Steven Vernon said: “Were pressing on with our planning application for 600,000 to 700,000 sq ft of offices in the next couple of weeks, but were not pessimistic about a combined scheme thats the best way forward. Wed both prefer to do a joint scheme, but one way or another our park will be developed.”
Green and Arlingtons jv is looking at a £200m scheme on Manchester Business Park, dubbed the “Stockley Park of the North”. The jv would see the two developers creating, with Manchester council, a 139,350 sq m (1.5m sq ft) office park.
