Green light for Bucks university homes

Newland-Park-BucksChiltern district council has approved Comer Homes’ plans for 309 homes at the former Buckinghamshire New University campus at Newland Park, Buckinghamshire. The proposals include 43 affordable homes.

Newland Park manor house, including its gardens and parkland, will be restored and new sporting facilities will be created.

Brian Comer, joint founder of Comer Homes, said: “‘We look forward to starting on site soon and to working closely with residents as the project progresses. It is time for Newland Park to be restored to its former glory, and its place at the heart of the local community.’’

Savills were the planning agents for the scheme.
