Three Scottish-based residential developers have kickstarted a £500m redevelopment of Glasgow Harbour (pictured).
The scheme is one of the largest waterfront regeneration projects in the UK.
Last week, Bryant Homes, CALA Homes and Park Lane won planning consent to develop 651 homes on the site of the former Meadowside Granary buildings at Glasgow Harbour.
This is the first of six planned residential phases.
Outline consent for a total of 2,500 apartments on a 30-acre (12ha) site designated for waterfront housing was granted in June of last year.
Glasgow Harbour is a joint venture between Clydeport and Bank of Scotland.
The residential component is part of a 120-acre (49ha) site, which stretches along the north bank of the Clyde from the SECC to the Clyde Tunnel.
