Conygar has been granted planning consent for the redevelopment of the 40-acre former headquarters of Boots in Nottingham.
The project will include 630,000 sq ft of offices, 907 flats, 666 student flats, a hotel, shops and a park. The site has lain derelict for decades. A final decision will be made at the city council’s April planning committee meeting.
Robert Ware, chief executive of Conygar, said: “Nottingham is a vibrant and creative city where several exciting developments are taking place and our plans for the 40-acre site are a key part of this regeneration. We believe this is a unique development which will help to elevate Nottingham’s position in the Midlands and the UK.”
