Fiera Real Estate and Opus North have been given the nod for the redevelopment of Kings Court in Leeds, to create 54,500 sq ft of office space.
The scheme also includes a spa, two floors of communal lounge space and roof terraces.
The building was acquired on behalf of Fiera Real Estate Opportunity Fund V UK in January 2020, and will help provide space to meet the 350,000 sq ft of named demand for Grade A space.
The redevelopment is earmarked for completion in autumn 2021.
Fiera Real Estate head of value add REIM Chris Button said: “Our central investment thesis is to create best in class buildings in markets with strong fundamentals, which is more important now than ever.
“In a rapidly evolving office market, we have designed a technologically and environmentally resilient building while creating an inspirational environment to foster collaboration and innovation.”
Knight Frank and Fox Lloyd Hones are letting agents on the scheme.
