Beech Holdings has been given the green light to redevelop a warehouse in Manchester city centre into 80 apartments.
Manchester City Council has given the nod for the developer to redevelop the 50,000 sq ft Victorian warehouse into one- and two-bedroom low-carbon homes. One side of the warehouse will feature an LGBTQ+ mural.
The scheme, called Mindel + Bloom, is located between Capital & Centric’s mixed-use Kampus development and Manchester Piccadilly railway station.
In a statement, the developer said: “We are perfectly placed to carry out this development, as one of our key areas of expertise is transforming derelict, disused and unloved space into thriving locations for Manchester’s growing number of residents.”
