MEPC’s 200,000sq ft 4 Angel Square has been given the thumbs up by Manchester City Council.
The approved 11-storey office will sit on the corner of Corporation Street and Miller Street, and be speculatively developed.
Construction is earmarked for start-on-site for spring 2020, with completion due summer 2022.
The scheme sits in MEPC’s wider 20-acre mixed use NOMA development in central Manchester. Once finished, the scheme will provide 2.5m sq ft of office space.
Paul Pavia, head of development at MEPC, said: “Planning approval for 4 Angel Square marks the next step in the creation of a new business district within the NOMA neighbourhood.
“The decision will also help unlock 2 and 3 Angel Square, and bring forward much needed high-quality office space.”
